Volunteers are an essential part of the HSGA. They help keep the expenses down by reducing the need for paid staff. As a volunteer, you can share your time and talents to help animals in need. By assisting in direct animal care, community education and outreach, event planning and fundraising or administrative help, you're always helping to make a difference for everyone. No matter what you can do for the HSGA and its animals, you will find it very rewarding.
"You'll get to experience the joy of adoptions, a puppy's first bath, the joy of a fresh grooming, the sparkle in a child's eye when they find the doggie of their choice, and the memories go on. Not only that, but you get to hang out with a fun group of people who share the same interest as you. What could be better than that?!"
