Donor Recognition Installation unveiled showcasing philanthropy

Made possible by the generosity of HSSC’s Board of Directors, our new Donor Recognition Installation in the lobby of our shelter honors the past, celebrates the present, and shares our hope for the future! Donors to our 2008-2012 Capital Campaign are recognized on one screen and the other will list recent donations made in honor or memory of people and pets. The centerpiece is a tribute to our Pawsibilities Circle, a group of donors who have had a transformational impact on the work of HSSC.

The Pawsibilities Circle is a special group of our most philanthropic supporters. This group includes those who have given over $100,000 over the last 20 years (calculated since the beginning of our records in 2000). These donors have supported such projects as our shelter veterinary suite, educational programs for elementary-age students, the Mobile Adoption Center, programs that enhance the lives of our animals while in the shelter, and even the purchase of our shelter building. We are deeply grateful for all of our donors and the support of our whole community, but this special group deserves this recognition and place of honor in our lobby.

Our video, below, shares the story of the Pawsibilities Circle and the members of this special group.
