Help Us Win the EmbraceCLE Challenge!

Can you help us win this mission-driven competition?!

During the month of September, Embrace Pet Insurance is hosting the EmbraceCLE Community Challenge and HSSC could win $12,500 in addition to every dollar we raise for Summit County rescue animals!

HSSC is one of several local non-profits nominated to compete in the EmbraceCLE Challenge. The objective: raise the most funds for our mission. Every dollar raised will help the more than 2,500 animals that HSSC will rescue this year, winning this challenge and earning an extra $12,500 will ensure we can provide lifesaving care to the most animals possible.

Your Support Helps Dogs Like Beemo!

Beemo (left) was found trapped and abandoned on a screen porch, covered in waste. He was dangerously skinny, having had no access to food or water in days. When the property landlord tried to approach him, Beemo cowered and whimpered. He obviously had reason not to trust people. When he arrived at the Humane Society of Summit County, Beemo was shut down, quiet, and passive. His time in our shelter included recovering from a tapeworm infection, gaining much needed weight, and learning to trust people again. Within a few weeks, he was warm and affectionate and became known for his tennis ball catching ability!

Your gift today to the EmbraceCLE Community Challenge will ensure animals like Beemo receive the care and love they deserve when they are most in need. Help us raise lifesaving funds and win this competition today!
