Casey

Casey, now known as Frodo, was brought to the Humane Society of Summit County as an sick stray. Our veterinary team determined he was suffering from heartworm and needed immediate treatment. Nearly 3 months after arriving at our shelter, Casey was cleared for adoption and found a forever home in no time!

Here's what his forever family had to say about him:

I can honestly say, without a shadow of a doubt, that he is the best thing that's ever happened to me. He has quickly become the light of my life, and is just the happiest boy. He's also so smart!! He learned his new name in less than 3 days, knows how to sit and stay, and is learning to shake and spin. He's also taken so well to his cousin and his new aunt and uncles! Frodo and Yoda (aka Fro-Yo) are best buds, playing all day with cuddly naps in between. Speaking of cuddles, Frodo LOVES them from everyone! If you're sitting on the couch, just know you'll probably have a 70lbs good boy sitting on your lap in no time. His favorite time of day is when mom gets home from work, and he gets afternoon cuddles. 🥰 He's fitting in with his new family like a puzzle piece we didn't know we were missing. I take him everywhere I can with me, and plan on taking him out on hikes. He loves riding in the car and walks pretty well on his harness (though we need a little bit of training with that too). I'm just so thankful to everyone at the shelter who found and took care of my sweet boy until I was able to find him. I tell him every day how much I love him, and I'm excited to spend every day with my best friend.
