Hermione, now known as Kyra, was abandoned at the front door of the Humane Society of Summit County along with her 6 littermates. All seven kittens were flea-infested and so young their eyes were barely open. Once her fleas were under control, Kyra spent a few weeks with a foster family, growing and getting strong enough to survive on her own. Not long after, Kyra found her forever family!

I couldn’t imagine our family without Kyra! She is leash training & hikes with my husband & I. We love the joy it brings people to see her. Her favorite human is our grandchild, Graham. They are best buddies! We hadn’t had a cat in over 30 years. My family was shocked when dad & I brought home a kitten. To hear my grown son fawn over her melts my heart. She is loved & spoiled beyond belief. She even has her own Instagram, @KyraadventureKat - thank you for making this possible!
