Wookie, now known as Louie, was found wandering alone and brought to the Humane Society of Summit County. It was clear he had been outside and alone for quite some time because he arrived very dirty and struggling with a cough. A good bath and antibiotics were all Louie needed to be ready for his bright future.
Here's what his forever home had to say about him:
My partner and I adopted Wookie (who now goes by Louie/Lou) recently and we couldn't wait to send you all a thank you. This past week has been full of laughter, lots of cuddling, and many miles of walking, running, and splashing around at the Metroparks. This wiry-haired goofball has been the perfect addition to our family and we will always be thankful to you guys for helping us find our forever friend.
