Muffin

Muffin, now known as Salem, was found as a kitten, too young to survive alone, by a Good Samaritan. When he arrived, he was suffering from intestinal parasites. Time with a foster family and a course of antibiotics fixed Salem right up and he quickly found his forever home.

Ringer

Ringer was brought to the Humane Society of Summit County by a Good Samaritan who found him suffering from an eye infection and intestinal parasites. Our veterinary team put him on a course of antibiotics and in no time he was ready for his forever home!

Boujee

Boujee, now known as Melia, was rescued by our Humane Officers from a hoarding situation where she was living with 22 other felines. Covered in fleas and scabs, Melia was ready for a forever home where she could live in peace and quiet.

Pink

Pink, now known as Lulu, was brought to the Humane Society of Summit County along with 3 other adult felines and 4 kittens. It was clear Lulu was the mother of the kittens so she got to spend several weeks with her kittens in a foster home until all of them were ready for their forever homes!

Hermione

Hermione, now known as Kyra, was abandoned at the front door of the Humane Society of Summit County along with her 6 littermates. All seven kittens were flea-infested and so young their eyes were barely open. Once her fleas were under control, Kyra spent a few weeks with a foster family, growing and getting strong enough to survive on her own. Not long after, Kyra found her forever family!

Ferris and Inu

When Ferris and Inu, now known as Figaro and Galileo, arrived at the Humane Society of Summit County, both were suffering from the harsh realities of being abandoned kittens. Ferris was too tiny to live on his own and covered in fleas; Inu was emaciated and suffering from intestinal parasites. With some TLC and antibiotics, both Ferris and Inu were ready to find their forever home.

Pamela & Zanzie

Pamela and Zanzie, now known as Sophie and Zander, were both brought to the Humane Society of Summit County by Good Samaritans. Sophie was nursing a litter of 4 kittens and so thin she was struggling to do so. Zander was suffering from a wound on his neck and intestinal parasites. Once these two were feeling better, they found their forever home together!

Australia

Australia, now known as Baker, was rescued by our Humane Officers from a hoarding situation along with 65 other felines. During his stay with us, Baker had minor eye surgery and quickly found his forever home after he recovered!

Sweetheart

Sweetheart was brought in to the Humane Society of Summit County by a Good Samaritan. She was suffering from a shoulder wound and had contract FIV somewhere along the way. After her shoulder wound had healed, she found a forever home right away!

She’s still “food motivated” (almost doubled her weight since adoption) and has become a very sweet and loving member of the family. She loves her festive attire!

Shady

Shady, now known as Lola, was surrendered to the Humane Society of Summit County when her health concerns became overwhelming for her previous owners. Lola was suffering from severe skin and ear infections. Once her skin was on the mend and her ears were healthy, Lola found her forever home in the blink of an eye!
