Diamond Jim


Diamond Jim was born in a foster home after his mama cat was rescued by a Good Samaritan. As soon as Diamond Jim was old enough to be adopted, he found his forever home in no time!

Here's what his forever family had to say about him:

Thank you so much to the adoption counselor who helped me pick the best kitties for our family, we re-named Diamond Jim, he goes by Lewie now. He is incredibly spoiled & loved & gives us so much love in return. He couldn’t be more perfect for our family!!! We had such a wonderful experience with you all, I will definitely be coming back for any future adoptions!

Fozzie

Fozzie, now known as Fonzie, was rescued by our Humane Officers and was very sick when he came to the Humane Society of Summit County. After 414 days of medical care and loving attention, Fonzie found his forever home!

Thunder

Thunder, now named Hamilton, was rescued from a hoarding situation by our Humane Officers. Thunder was only here for a couple short weeks before he found his forever home!

Here's what his new forever family had to say about him:

Hamilton has been a Godsend and I love him very much! He keeps me on my toes. He likes to play catch and fetches and he likes high places. I think he is happy here.

Brookie

Brookie was surrendered to the Humane Society of Summit County when her owner was no longer able to car for her. With a little TLC from our kennel staff, Brookie was quickly ready for her forever home!

Here's what her new family had to say about her:

She’s adjusted very well to her new home and I can’t imagine my home without her! She still has a ton of energy and loves to play, but she’s also super snuggly and affectionate.

Tibs Two

Tibs Two came to our shelter as an injured stray in need of a leg amputation. Our veterinary team removed his injured leg and he was quickly ready for his forever home.

Here's what his forever family had to say about him:

We adopted “Tibs Two” in December of 2020 and it has been the best decision we have made. We instantly fell in love with him and had to take him home! He has been renamed “Biscuit” and can chase a laser pointer with the best of them, despite being one leg short! Thank you for everything!

Merlin

Merlin was returned to our shelter when his previous owners became overwhelmed with his care. It didn't take long for him to find his forever home!

Here's what his family had to say about him:

He is doing wonderfully. He is my co-worker for a good part of the day. He is getting along and playing with his 2 new sisters and is now sharing his space with his 2 dog cousins. He is a curious boy with a a big personality to match his big boy frame. We absolutely adore him.

Clef

Clef came to the Humane Society of Summit County covered in fleas and in urgent need of dental surgery. Once Clef was healthy, he was adopted in no time flat!

Here's what his new family had to say about him:

We actually dropped in last October and had it narrowed down to two entirely different cats but the counselor suggested we meet this guy and we knew in 2 minutes he was meant to be ours! Thank you so much for your dedication to the animals!!

Serena

Serena (now known as Leia) was brought to the Humane Society of Summit County by a Good Samaritan as an injured and ill stray. Our veterinary care team fixed her right up and she was adopted soon after!

Bella

Bella came to the Humane Society in 2018 in need of eye surgery after her previous owner was no longer able to care for her. After a quick recovery from having her eye removed, Bella found her forever home in no time!

Othello

Othello came to the Humane Society after a Good Samaritan found him. He found his forever family right away!

"The adoption process is super easy to understand and super quick!!! Y’all clearly love these animals with all your heart!!!
