Virtual Attendance

For the safety and comfort of all guests, the Humane Society of Summit County is pleased to present the Pawsibility Ball in-Person with an option for guests to attend virtually from home! We guarantee a fun and engaging evening for all and benefits to you as a guest are equal. We hope you will join us in the way that is best for you!

Streaming online via a Zoom meeting

8pm-9pm Live Program Begins

Check-In: Guests will receive a text message to register ahead of the event – an email address and mobile number are required for each guest. Table hosts and sponsors will be requested to provide contact information for their guests in advance.

Meal Delivery: Our caterer, Robert J. Catering & Events, will deliver meals (chilled with reheating instructions) to guests’ homes on August 29th, between 1pm and 5pm, along with Gala-in-a-Box favors and Wine Pull and Gift Bag Pull purchases. Guests must be home to accept the delivery and will be contacted with a more specific delivery time closer to event day. A survey will be emailed to all guests in mid-August for your meal option and where you would like your meal delivered. Alternatively, you may also choose to forgo your delivered meal and instead DONATE the cost of your meal to feed a shelter animal for a month! If you choose to donate the cost of your meal your Gala-in-a-Box favors will be available for pick up at HSSC from 8/24 to 8/28.

Live Streaming via Zoom: A zoom link to view the event will be emailed to all guests a few days before the event. You will be able to access this link on Aug. 29th beginning at 7:45pm, and the program will begin at 8pm. While you may watch from your mobile device, for the best experience, please plan to view from a computer, tablet, or connect to a TV!

Mobile Bidding: Bidding on over 80 silent auctions items will be open from 8/22 to 8/29 through the GiveSmart mobile site. You must be registered and have a credit card on file to bid. Payment for items won will be made through GiveSmart. The Silent Auction will close at 9:00pm on 8/29. Silent auction winners may pick up their items at HSSC (7996 Darrow Rd) at a later time following the event. For the best viewing experience, we recommend bidding from a different device, like your phone, rather than using the same device you are using to view the streaming program during the event.

Live Auction and Fund-a-Need: Bidding and donating will be done through the GiveSmart website and through Zoom chat. Instructions for participation will be given during the live streaming event.

Wine Pull and Gift Bag Pull: These items will be available for purchase through the GiveSmart website prior to the event. Purchases made by 8/21 will be delivered along with catered meals to guests’ homes. Guests may also choose to pick up these purchases at HSSC (7996 Darrow Rd) or Happy Tails Thrift Shop (1776 Merriman Rd) if they are donating the cost of their meals.
