Foster Animals

Foster a shelter animal, save a life!

Each year our foster parents save the lives of hundreds of animals by giving them a second chance. Young, sick and injured rescue animals are placed in loving foster homes for temporary care until they are adoptable. By welcoming an animal into your home, you are removing them from the shelter where they are more exposed to stress and diseases. This is especially important for kittens and puppies because their immune systems are not strong enough just yet. There are many perks of being a foster. You get all the love and cuddles you can handle. It's a great learning experience for the whole family.

All you need to be a foster is love and transportation. We provide all the supplies your foster pet will need: food, bedding, leashes, litter & litter boxes, crates and medical care.

Foster Spotlight - Meet Rhino!

Rhino came to us as as an injured stray. Once in our care, we quickly noticed that being in a kennel environment was really stressful as he started pacing, chewing his kennel door, and eating inanimate objects. While in a previous foster home, he blossomed into a happy-go-lucky pup! While he can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, Rhino quickly warms up into a great snuggle buddy.

Rhino really loves the company of other dogs. He feels more confident on walks with a buddy by his side, though he eventually gets comfortable with going out just with people too. He'd do best in a foster home that has another canine friend. If you are interested in opening your home up to Rhino or any of our other animals, please fill out our foster interest form and we'll get in touch as soon as possible. Rhino can't wait to meet you!
